Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information is used when you play the mobile game Marble Dig (the "Service"), why, who receives it and the choices you have. QUANTUM IX UNITED INC. ("we", "us") is responsible for the Service. The Service is free to play and shows optional rewarded ads.
You do not need to sign up to play, and we do not ask for your name, e-mail address or phone number. The Service has no user accounts and no game server — your progress is saved only on your device.
1. Information used by the Service
- Game data on your device — your level progress, stars, decorations, skin and world choices, daily-puzzle record and settings (language, sound, haptics, reduced motion, reminders) are stored on your device only. We do not receive a copy.
- Advertising data — the Service uses Google AdMob for rewarded ads (optional ads you choose to watch for a hint or a bonus). When an ad is requested, Google receives your device's advertising identifier, IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Ads are requested only after the consent step described in section 3 has finished.
- Reminders (optional) — if you allow notifications, the game schedules local reminders on your device (for example when a new daily puzzle is ready, or a nudge a few days after you last played). To time them, the game stores on your device when you last opened it and the hour you usually play. The reminders are created and shown by your device; we do not receive your notification choice or any token, and you can switch them off in the game's Settings or in your device settings.
- Technical data — the game engine from Unity Technologies and Google's mobile ads library receive basic technical information (such as device model, operating system and app version) to work properly.
- E-mails you send us — if you contact support, we receive your e-mail address and what you write.
- Purchases — the Service currently offers no in-app purchases. If we add them later, payments will be handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, we will never receive your card details, and we will update this policy first.
2. Why we use it
- to run the Service on your device — necessary to provide the Service you asked for;
- to show rewarded ads that keep the game free, and to measure ads and prevent ad fraud — our legitimate interest, or your consent where the law requires it (see section 3);
- to remind you about the daily puzzle, if you allow reminders — based on your choice;
- to answer your requests and comply with the law.
3. Advertising and your choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland — before any ad is requested, the Service shows Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) and requests ads only after it has been completed. You can change your choice at any time with the Ad privacy choices button in the game's Settings. This button appears only in regions where the law requires it.
- United States — in states with privacy laws (for example California), using ad data for personalised ads can count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can opt out at any time by deleting your advertising ID in your device settings; after that you will see only non-personalised ads. Where Google's consent tool offers it in your state, the Ad privacy choices button also lets you opt out.
- Android — you can delete or reset your advertising ID in your device settings (usually Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- iPhone and iPad — the iPhone version asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency before any tracking. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", your advertising identifier is not used and only non-personalised ads are requested. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Non-personalised ads are still based on context such as the app and your approximate location, and Google still uses some data to measure ads and prevent fraud. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
4. Who receives information
We do not sell your personal information for money and we do not share it with data brokers. Information goes only to these providers, each for the purpose listed:
| Recipient | Purpose | Information | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (AdMob, consent form) | Show and measure rewarded ads, prevent ad fraud, collect your ad consent | Advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device and app information, ad interactions, consent choice | United States and other countries where Google operates |
| Unity Technologies | Run the game engine | Technical information such as device and app information | United States and other countries |
We do not run a game server, so we hold no game data about you. We may disclose information we receive by e-mail if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or of us.
5. International transfers
The providers above may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where required (for example for users in the EEA and the UK), the transfer relies on the safeguards the provider uses, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. How long information is kept
- Game data on your device — until you delete the app or its data.
- Advertising data — kept by Google under its own retention policy.
- E-mails you send us — as long as needed to answer you and meet legal obligations.
7. Children
The Service is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support-mdig@lfbe.io and we will delete it.
8. Your rights and deleting your data
Depending on where you live (for example in the EEA, the UK, Korea or US states such as California) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent.
- Data on your device — we hold no copy, so you control it all: uninstall the game, or clear its data (Android: Settings → Apps → Marble Dig → Storage → Clear data; iPhone: delete the app). See also the Delete my data page.
- Ad data — change or withdraw your ad choices at any time as described in section 3. Data Google already holds is handled by Google; see its privacy tools at myaccount.google.com.
- E-mails — to have an e-mail exchange deleted, write to support-mdig@lfbe.io. We reply within 30 days.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority — for example your local authority in the EEA, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the Personal Information Protection Commission in Korea.
9. Security
Information that leaves your device goes to the providers above over encrypted connections. Providers protect the information they receive under their own security practices. No service is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy, for example when we add new features. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the Service.
